Clagnut

High tackle

It’s Friday! Today’s Biscuit time is in honour of Chelsea’s magnificent win over Lazio in Rome on Wednesday.

Oh you can’t put your foot up in Europe.
You can’t show your studs on the Nent.
They take a dim view
Of a slightly raised shoe,
So think hard if you’re up against Ghent (my lad).

How did Bridgey get on? I would say that he’s sorely missed at St. Mary’s, but Graeme Le Saux is doing rather a good job of replacing him ;)

Bridge is doing pretty well. He’s settled in quickly, working the left wing well behind Duff. Looks like he still needs a few years to get his defending up to the top quality required, but with Desailly&, Terry& and Gallas& holding fort, he’s got plenty of cover.

All in all, a good buy for Chelsea, although I do miss Le Saux – he was probably my favourite Chelsea player (behind Zola of course) and it’s a disgrace he didn’t get more games for England over the past few years.
