This time the location was closer to home, in Brighton. Dunstan, Jon, Patrick, Drew, Rachel (and Bethany) joined Jeremy, Jessica, Andy and me for a splendid weekend of geek chat, free wifi, pricey booze and Asian cuisine. As always, it was good to renew past acquaintances and put faces to armadillos. Andy has a full write up and I must also point you to Jon’s photo of us in Krakatoa restaurant – no image maps were harmed, just tricksy hover tricks with list items.

Geekend: Andy, Jeremy, Stuart, Jon and I returned yesterday from a glorious weekend at Dunstan’s place in the Dorset countryside. Many thanks to Dunstan for his hospitality and generosity. For now there are some photos.
Secure wifi: During another Geekend in London, Andy brought up the question of how to make his home wifi network secure but open. Well, its funny how these things work out: upon catching up with my RSS feeds, there lay the answer.
Blog Block: Hmm. I’m struggling for things to write at the moment – I’m just feeling like I’ve got little to say. For example, I nearly decided to omit mentioning the little bloggers’ meet up we had in London at the weekend.
Ginger snap: Oof. Someone was in die Hundehutte last night. A quiet evening in the Earth and Stars, iChatting to Dunstan (still in San Francisco) with Andy and Jeremy, ended up an early morning in the Spiegeltent. And there’s more Biscuit for y’all.
Hackday London: Hackday London was fantastic. Andy Hume and I designed & developed a hack by way of a web app called Get Us Organised. It proved quite popular.
