Cross-Browser PNG Translucency in the current issue of SitePoint. Useful, but won’t validate: Let’s just hope that Microsoft wise up and support PNG transparency with the standard <img> tag in Internet Explorer 7!

Westciv (makers of Style Master) announce the return of their series of free self-paced courses in standards-based web development. The courses start this week with HTML 4.0 and XHTML for CSS which runs over the next few months.

Easy alpha transparent pngs: The BritPack logo on these pages is an alpha-transparent PNG and I use a little PHP script to deliver browser-specific code to IE6 and IE5.5 and a normal image to other browsers.
