Pompeii InteractiveThese photos are all taken from the Pompeii Interactive CD-ROM. Pompeii was a bustling town near Naples, Italy. It was infamously destroyed by the volcano Vesuvius in 79AD. The pyroclastic flows of ash completely buried the entire city within a couple of days, incredibly preserving houses, shops, frescos, statues and even people. |
